New member. New banjo picker, been at it for one week. Been playing uke for many years so some of it’s not too hard. 84 now and teaching the fingers new tricks is a bit more difficult. Found this site a bit difficult to navigate. Cripple Creek was not too hard, Jed Clampett a bit harder, WW Flower Harder yet. Have them down ..pretty good, in slow time.

Keep at it! One week is not long at all and the fact that you can already play a few songs is great!
Ballad of Jed is a slightly more complex song, it’d probably be better to get a few simpler tunes under your belt first and then come back to that one. If you’ve got anymore questions please let me know!
