I Just Purchased A Lesson, How Do I Access My Files?

Log in to your account on my website and you’ll see a menu with “Your Lessons”. Or you can find it by hovering over “My Account” when you’re logged in. Click “Purchased Lessons” and you’ll see all the lessons you’ve purchased. Click on the lesson you’d like and it will take you to the lesson page where you can view the tabs, tracks and videos. You’ll see the Lesson Materials on the right side you can download.

What Types Of Payments Will You Accept?

You can pay with Credit Card or via Paypal for any store purchase or membership. If you’d like to pay by check or money order, you can send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I can give you the mailing info. I cannot accept checks or money orders for memberships since those are recurring payments.

How Many Tabs/Tracks can I download per month as a Pro/Pro+ Member?

You can download up to 12 Tabs/Tracks per month with the Pro/Pro+ Membership. Each time you click to download the lesson materials, you’ll use one of your downloads for the month. You can also view the tabs, tracks and videos all on the lesson page WITHOUT using your downloads so feel free to view and browse the lessons as much as you’d like!
If you accidentally use up your downloads on the same lesson, send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I can easily correct the issue!

Will My Lessons That I Purchased On Your Old Website Still Work?

Yes! All your old purchases and downloads will still be available to you. You’ll see them under “My Account” and then “Purchases.” All your new lessons and downloads will simply be available on the Lesson Page itself which makes them much easier to access!

Can I Download The Video Lessons?

No, all my videos lessons are now streaming only (watch without downloading). You have unlimited access to watch them as much as you’d like on the lesson pages.
If you know you’re going to be offline for a period of time, I may allow you to download some of the videos if requested. Send em an e-mail at [email protected] and let me know the situation!

How Do I Sign Up For A Free Membership? Is It Always Free?

You can go to the Membership Sign Up Page and click Basic. The Basic Membership is always free. At checkout, the membership says it renews every year but that’s just the subscription renewing, don’t worry, you’ll never be charged for a Basic Membership or lose your access!

What File Types Do Your Products Come In?

The tabs come in both PDF and TEF formats and can be printed out for your convenience. The audio practice tracks are .mp3 format. The video lesson files are in .mp4 format and can be played on most devices.

How Do I Change My Password?

You can change your password anytime by going into “My Account” and click “Change My Details.

How Do I Access Members Content?

To access any of the lessons simply log in to your account and then go to “Your Lessons.” Any lessons you have access to will be listed there!

Why Don't You Have Some Of The Popular Songs That I Love?

Chances are if I don’t have a popular lesson, it’s because the song is copyrighted! Believe it or not, it’s violates copyright law to provide lessons of copyrighted material even if I create an original arrangement of the song. Yes, you may have seen these songs on other websites (they’re taking a risk) but I can only teach public domain or my own original lessons!
I know this may frustrate some people by I like to be able to sleep well at night knowing I’m not doing anything potentially against the law and I appreciate your understanding!

Can You Mail Me DVD's Of The Lessons?

No, sorry, because I’m adding new lessons each month I don’t have the ability to make DVD’s of the lessons.

Will You Tab Out My Favorite Banjo Solo For Me?

Possibly. As a rule, I don’t tab out other artist’s solos and make them available for sale unless I have that artist’s permission. However, if there’s a song you like, I might be able to create my own version of it. Please send an e-mail to [email protected] with the request and I will let you know if it’s something I can work up!

I Don't Purchase A Lot Of Stuff Online. Is My Credit Card Info Secure?

Yes, Mike Hedding Music doesn’t store any of your credit card info unless you request it and the payment processors are extremely secure. More info here:

Why Are Your Video Lessons Split Into 3 or 4 Different Files?

I do this to make navigating through the video lessons as easy as possible. This way you can easily find the particular section of the lesson you’re working on.  Plus, it’s very difficult to fast forward and rewind a video with your banjo picks on!

How Is Purchasing A Single Lesson Different Than A Membership?

Purchasing a single lesson grants you access to that specific lesson. You can download the lesson materials or stream the videos as many times as you want after you’ve purchased it. Memberships grant you access to ALL the content, but only as long as your membership is active. Memberships renew on a monthly or yearly basis. More info at the Membership Sign Up Page.

How Do I Cancel My Membership?

Go to https://mikeheddingmusic.com/my-account/subscriptions/ and you’ll see your active membership. Click the “View” button and you will see an option that says “Cancel.”
