Glad I found this site! I dusted off my mandolin during the Covid-19 lockdown/shutdown around April 2020. I played guitar backup for my uncle’s mandolin for 40 years. Never learned it myself even though I sat next to him playing for decades. He was Italian so we played all the Italian/folk/latin tunes. I picked it up fast since I knew what it was supposed to sound like and then started learning bluegrass which I find amazing. Living in NC I’m only 1 hr from many bluegrass jams which I’ve been attending. I finally got enough courage to sit in on my first bluegrass jam last weekend! At 63 I feel like a kid and had so much fun —- One song at a time. Thanks for these lessons!
