Hi Mike, having gone through your video on left hand techniques I am still having trouble with sounding the correct note on 2nd string after doing a slide on 3rd. I have to push the string up towards the 4th string to clear the 2nd, any advice for me please Pete

Make sure your fingernails aren’t too long. If they’re too long it’ll make it so you have to play on the wrong part of your finger which will cause a lot of string muting issues.
