Learn 10 beginner bluegrass guitar licks in the key of G. The lesson starts with the classic G run and then moves into a mix of major and bluesy ideas you can use in your own playing. Each lick includes a measure of strumming before and after it, so you can practice moving from rhythm into a fill and back to the chord. You’ll also work on the slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and picking patterns that make each lick sound right, plus a few simple ways to connect the licks into longer phrases.
