What do I do about capo’ing the 5th string if I don’t have the spikes in place? I tried adjusting that string manually but was afraid I’d break it. Thanks, Julie July 6, 2021 at 6:32 pm #229399 MikeKeymaster You’ll want to get a 5th string capo if you don’t have spikes. You’re correct you wouldn’t want to turn the 5th string up too much as it might break. Otherwise you can play the songs without a capo and just play in G. – Mike October 22, 2022 at 7:06 pm #299227 JohnnyjengaParticipant Hi Mike, once the capo is in place. How do you finger your chords? If the capo becomes a “new” nut, does an F shape on the new third fret produce a G? Author Posts Viewing 2 reply threads You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
