Mike,
On all these beginner songs do you think it is better to stay on one song until you can play it at the fastest speed? I usually get pretty good up till 80 bpm, after that I can’t keep up. I’ve been just pushing to the next song so I don’t lose interest and picking up more and more speed as I go. But wanted to see if you had any advice.

Mike, I have to express my disappointment: when listening to you play, it sounds like there are far more notes—or at least it seems like a full arrangement—but then, when I actually buy the track, I realize it’s just the basic melody notes. It’s very disappointing. Perhaps you didn’t want to make it too complex since you’re catering to beginners, but it is still a letdown. I still consider you a great teacher—that hasn’t changed, and I’ll keep using your site—but I am disappointed because I’m having to struggle to piece together all the notes myself.

Yes, I included a version with the basic melody only but that is an additional pdf and TEF file not the full arrangement.
You’ll see the full tab and four practice tracks also included in the download that play the full version.
It sounds like you might be just listening to the beginner melody version instead of the full practice tracks that are included.
You’ll see the full practice tracks on the lesson page or in the downloads.
