Is there a specific artist or recording I could look at for this version of SSS? It seems like the Jerry Garcia version does not match the break in this lesson.

No, almost every version I checked out of this song was different.

The Garcia/Grisman only uses 1 measure of D the first time so if you want to make the break match their version remove measure 6 and measure 24 and it will work with their version.

Okay thanks. When I look up the chords online I did not find any version that had the d chord in the first line, just g then c. Not sure how that all works.
