Really interesting tips, Mike! I was wondering if you could also suggest a recommended practice structure. Your practice tips talk about mixing it up to keep your brain engaged but would you advise having a basic routine for each time you practice? For instance, should I do a warm-up, maybe some rolls with different chords, some licks, scales, and then work on new material? How often do your review the songs in your repertoire? Is it better to establish a goal before starting each practice? Would you have different advice for intermediate players than beginners?
