This Mini Banjo Lesson is going to be talking about one of my favorite subjects….Blues Banjo!
Maybe it’s the cold, but winter time hasĀ got me picking the blues so let me show you some easy ways to create your own blues banjo licks.
I’m going to cover the keys G, C and D and what we’re going to do is take a major pentatonic scale and mix up the notes to give us a minor pentatonic scale we can use for the blues! With these easy moveable patterns you can create your own bluesy licks in any key without a capo or retuning!

Rated 5 out of 5
Mike’s video lessons are exceptionally clear and easy to follow. Every step needed to learn a new song or master a new technique is explained carefully, one step at a time. In my opinion, that’s essential not only for beginners but also for players who already have some experience with the instrument.
